By Kevin Hendricks — House hunters curious about life east of the Sandias can tour a batch of homes for sale in a single Saturday, and pocket raffle tickets along the way, during The Great Edgewood Home Tour on Nov. 14.

Maps of participating homes go out at 10:30 a.m., and open houses run from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Edgewood and nearby communities, according to organizer Natalie Fallbach of Fallbach Mortgage. Visitors collect a raffle ticket at each home for a shot at prizes.

Fallbach pitched the tour as a low-pressure look for anyone eyeing a purchase in 2026 or 2027.

“You don’t have to be ready to buy right now,” she wrote in a Facebook post announcing the event.

The tour also spotlights East Mountain Realtors who know the quirks of rural property, Fallbach said. Wells, septic systems, shared wells, surveys, acreage and easements all make buying in the mountains different from buying in town.

Organizers are still adding homes and finalizing details.
