By Kevin Hendricks — Cat lovers can stop doomscrolling and start scrolling for a cause, this time on a much bigger screen. The 2026 CatVideoFest lands at the Guild Cinema on Sunday, Nov. 15, and part of every ticket helps a Corrales nonprofit rescue cats and find them homes.

The Guild screens the 74-minute compilation at 3:45, 6 and 8:15 p.m. Oscilloscope Laboratories builds the reel each year from viewer submissions, animations, music videos and internet classics. Theaters nationwide pair their screenings with local cat charities.

The Guild’s local partner is Companion Animal Rescue and Medical Assistance, or CARMA. The group runs with no paid staff, according to its website, and says it helped make Corrales New Mexico’s first no-kill community. It houses adoptable cats cage-free at Ed’s Place, an appointment-only adoption center at the Corrales Kennel.

CARMA leaders and volunteers plan to attend all three screenings to talk about rescue, adoption and ways to help.

General admission costs $15. Discounted $7 tickets for kids under 12 and seniors over 60 are sold only at the box office, and Guild punch cards don’t cover this show.
