By Jim Hilley — Harvest Ministries in Roswell is among the New Mexico food banks, food pantries and charitable organizations to benefit from “Turkey Bucks,” an annual campaign by Albertsons Market and Market Street that allows shoppers at those stores to easily make donations to help local families facing hunger.

Turkey Bucks is a donate-at-the-register campaign designed to support local families facing hunger, according to an Oct. 26 press release from United Supermarkets, LLC, the parent company of Albertsons Market and Market Street.

Through Nov. 8, customers can donate at the register while shopping at any participating Albertsons Market or Market Street location, according to the release. Every donation stays local, helping provide meals and support for neighbors in need throughout the holiday season, the release said.

Harvest Ministries is located at 601 N. Main Street in Roswell.
