An electronic billboard on the south side of the I-40 exit at Wyoming Boulevard displays a message from Veterans For Peace Chapter 63, which serves Albuquerque and Central and Southern New Mexico. The sign debuted from Monday, Sept. 14, runs through through the midterm election and was purchased by chapter members Robert L. Anderson, Charles Powell and Bill Tiwald.

Members of the group VeteransForPeace.org held a conference near the intersection of Wyoming and Interstate 40 Monday at noon ignorer to reveal a digital billboard with a very specific message that urged active duty military members to disobey unlawful orders.

The billboard argues the president may try to interfere with the seating of a new Congress after the November election — including potential moves involving the military, FBI and ICE — and calls the possibility of war with Iran a violation of Congress’s constitutional war-making authority. The message closes with a directive: “The US Military, FBI, and ICE Must Refuse Unlawful, Unconstitutional, Immoral Orders.”
