A quarter-century after the Sept. 11 attacks, Rio Rancho residents can pause and remember together this Friday evening at Vista Verde Memorial Park.
Daniels Family Funerals and Vista Verde Memorial Park are hosting a “Never Forget Memorial Service” at 6 p.m. Friday, Sept. 11, at the memorial park. The gathering is billed as a tribute to the 2,996 lives lost when hijacked planes struck the World Trade Center, the Pentagon and a Pennsylvania field on Sept. 11, 2001.
The service falls on the 25th anniversary of the attacks, giving this year’s remembrance added weight for veterans, first responders and families who lost loved ones.
