Job seekers in Bernalillo won’t have to look far this week — a career and resource fair rolls into the Recreation Center Thursday with employers, blood donors and free tacos all under one roof.
The Bernalillo Community Career & Resource Fair runs 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Aug. 27 at 370 Rotary Park Road, according to event materials from the Martha Liebert Public Library and Town of Bernalillo. Hiring employers include Peak Performers, Santa Ana Star Casino, Blake’s Lotaburger, Sandoval County Detention Center and NM Health.
Community resource tables will feature Goodwill Industries New Mexico, Job Corps, the Small Business Bureau and the Bernalillo Community Museum, among others. Vitalant will run an on-site blood drive, with donors earning a free Town of Bernalillo Route 66 T-shirt.
