The Village of Tijeras invites neighbors to trade their porches for lawn chairs Saturday, July 11, when a community night out takes over Veterans Memorial (Luis Garcia) Park from 5 to 8 p.m.

Local band Misdemeanor headlines the evening with live music, according to a village flyer promoting the event. Rock Canyon Cider runs the beer garden, and the Aguas Deliciosas food truck serves up drinks and bites for anyone who works up an appetite between sets.

The village is billing it simply: live music, local flavor and good times, set against the East Mountains backdrop as the sun goes down.
