The 8th Annual Bernalillo Indian Arts Festival is set to take place on May 3 and 4 at a new indoor location: the Sid Cutter Pilots Pavilion at Balloon Fiesta Park in Albuquerque. The festival will run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday.

The event will feature a wide array of Native American artists showcasing jewelry, sculpture, paintings, drawings, photography, clothing, pottery, basketry, beadwork, woodcarving and other diverse arts. The festival is known for attracting top-quality indigenous artwork, making it a destination for both visitors and collectors.

Attendees can also enjoy twice-daily entertainment, including performances by the Pueblo Enchantment Dancers (Acoma), drumming, music, and singers. Gourmet food options such as burgers, Native food, ice cream, fry bread and snow cones will be available.

The Bernalillo Indian Arts Festival, organized by the Authentic Native Arts Association, Inc., has become a key event for artists to begin their season with early sales.
