Today is Monday, Nov. 10.

I hope you had a great weekend. Hereโ€™s what weโ€™re following today.

The one-day special session has kicked off and our friends at New Mexico Political Report have the scoop on the almost $200 million SNAP gap funding legislators are considering.

Locally, Rio Rancho will get a visit from gubernatorial candidate Sam Bregman tomorrow as he continues his tour across the state. A cool broadband project in Jemez is not only helping the community get online, itโ€™s also winning awards.

Tomorrow is Veterans Day and, as always, Rio Rancho will shut down Southern Blvd. for part of the morning to celebrate and honor our vets with a parade and a ceremony.

A quick programming note: We will not be sending newsletters on Tuesday afternoon as we commemorate Veterans Day. We’ll see you again on Wednesday.

Enjoy the read.

You rely on The Signpost. We rely on you.

The Sandoval Signpost is critical local infrastructure keeping us connected and informed. Local information informs where we shop, who we elect and who in need we should help. Why should it be hidden behind paywalls and popups?

We treat The Signpost like a public service. We never charge to access information you need. But can only report as much as we can afford to follow.
