Updated: Albuquerque Journal editor resigns following shoplifting charge in Rio Rancho

Patrick Ethridge, the Albuquerque Journalโ€™s top editor, resigned his position Thursday afternoon a few hours after a Rio Rancho Municipal Court judge approved his release from custody.
