If you know someone who has done exemplary to someone in 2027 Rio Rancho Public Schools, it’s time to share that person’s light with the rest of the city.
Nominations for the district’s 2027 Hall of Honor are open through Oct. 30.
The RRPS School Board Hall of Honor was established “to recognize extraordinary service over an extended period of time to the children of Rio Rancho and Rio Rancho Public Schools,” according to a district press release.
Selection to the Hall of Honor is the highest recognition bestowed by the RRPS Board of Education. Since the Hall was created in 2014, 24 individuals and corporations have been inducted.
Those eligible to be nominated include former school board members, community members, businesses, government officials, former RRPS staff members and school district volunteers.
Previous Hall of Honor recipients include Don Chalmers, Margarita “Maggie” Moreno Cordova and Intel. Those with honorees in mind can fill out the online nomination form.
