Rio Rancho residents will get a look at the city’s strategy for attracting jobs and investment Tuesday when the Governing Body holds a work session focused on economic development.

The 3 p.m. session in Council Chambers includes an economic development overview and an update from Economic Development Manager Alberto Solis, according to the meeting agenda posted by the city.

The agenda also includes presentations from the Sandoval Economic Alliance and the Rio Rancho Regional Chamber of Commerce, two organizations that partner with the city on business recruitment and support for local employers.

  • Work sessions do not include a public comment period.
  • Residents can watch live online at the city’s meeting webcast page.
  • The Governing Body has six council seats; District 4 remains vacant.
