At one point, blues rock guitarist Kenny Wayne Shepherd was famed for his youth as much as his ax-playing virtuosity. (The precocious guitarist got invited to jam on stage by New Orleans legend Bryan Lee at age 13.) But he’s almost 50 now, and his platinum-selling 1995 debut album, Ledbetter Heights, is three decades old. Shepherd is on tour currently, performing that groundbreaking album in its entirety. He and his band will hit Albuquerque’s Kiva Auditorium (401 Second St. NW) on Wednesday, June 17 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets (ticketmaster.com/event/1E00636CD4739289) run $49.62 to $125.90.
