St. Punktrick’s Day (Sat. 7, Music)

Launchpad (618 Central Ave. SW) puts on its best mohawk to turn St. Patrick’s Day into St. Punktrick’s Day. An entire drunken barroom full of local bands gets into the spirit of (pre-)holiday, delivering rowdy tunes all night long on Saturday, March 7 starting at 7 p.m. Among the local bands channeling Irish punk rawkers like The Pogues, Stiff Little FIngers and The Undertones are Los Domingueros, Illegal Aliens, Fit to Burn, Past Lives, Phantom Riot, Glitz Biarritz, Lost Summer, Crash Bandits, Roadside Memorial, Rebuilt and Riot 71. This is a 21+ event, and a mere $10 gets you in the door.
