This week in The Paper.

ABQ’s source for everything arts, culture, community and events

This week, just in time for the Christmas/Hanukkah/Kwanzaa holidays, Albuquerque Interfaith Dialogue kicks off a monthly lecture series allowing people from a variety of different religions to talk about what faith means to them. We talk to the organizers and the speakers about the importance of cooperation and understanding in these conflict-filled times.

Over at UNM’s Popejoy Hall, Mariachi Christmas returns for a 26th year. And a new coffee shop/art gallery opens on the Westside.

Mike Hodock’s “Open Mic Monday” talks to local rockers in our weekly showcase of local musicians looking to make it big.

Oh! And this week’s double-wide calendar takes you through Christmas New Years with Nutcracker ballets, last-minute shopping and midnight ball-drops!

Whew! That’s a lot for a small newsletter. Good thing the 16-page paper edition is on stands Wednesday across the Duke City.
