The Moriarty City Council will discuss and approve a wastewater grant and a board appointment at its special meeting on Tuesday, Nov. 25.

The meeting will be held earlier for Thanksgiving week, instead of on the fourth Wednesday of the month. It starts at 5:30 p.m. at the City of Moriarty Civic Center, City Council Chambers, 202 Broadway Street South.

There are only two items on the agenda: approval of Resolution 25-26-08 Wastewater Emergency Grant Funding, and discussion and approval of a board appointment for the Estancia, Moriarty Willard Gas Association board.

Resolution 25-26-08 says the emergency grant funding totals $350,000. Mayor Steve Anaya was not available to provide more information in time for publication.
