Today is Wednesday, Nov. 5.
Election Day is in the books and we have updated results for elections from the East Mountains to the Estancia Valley.
Edgewood’s mayor is holding on to his commission seat, two incumbents were reelected in Tijeras, Mayor Nieto is getting another term in Mountainair but Estancia Mayor Nathan Dial is in trouble. There’s a tight race in Moriarty that could be headed towards a recount.
Plus, an Edgewood business will be competing for thousands of dollars in prizes tomorrow in Albuquerque.
Enjoy the read.

The Independent is critical local infrastructure keeping us connected and informed. Local information informs where we shop, who we elect and who in need we should help. Why should it be hidden behind paywalls and popups?
We treat The Indy like a public service. We never charge to access information you need. But can only report as much as we can afford to follow.
