Karen was born on 10/11/1948 in New Braunfels, TX, to Normand and Barbara Traverso. She was raised as an Air Force child and was often moving from place to place. She married the love of her life Don Urbielewicz in 1984. She had two children, Brian and Cindy from a previous marriage. She was a CPA for her own firm for over 30 years. In her spare time, she enjoyed water coloring. She was fantastic at it. Karen loved nature and birdwatching, rock collecting, hiking and camping. When Karen was not enjoying nature, she often enjoyed shows and restaurants.
Karen’s family and friends will always remember her as intelligent, very goal oriented, industrious and a beautiful person inside and out.
Karen was preceded in death by both of her parents.
Karen was survived by her loving husband Don Urbielewicz, daughter, Cindy Beers and son, Brian Martin.
