On March 5, 2024, the City of Rio Rancho will hold an election to elect City Councilors for Districts 1, 4, and 6 to 4-year terms. The ballot will also include three general obligation bond questions for public safety, roads, and other quality-of-life facilities.

Beginning Tuesday, Jan. 9, eligible, registered voters interested in seeking office must submit a Declaration of Candidacy form, which can be found in the Candidate Guide, to the City Clerkโ€™s Office located at Rio Rancho City Hall at 3200 Civic Center Circle.

The Candidate Guide can be found at  www.rrnm.gov/rrvotes, or in person in the Office of the City Clerk, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Although its not required, anyone interested in meeting face-to-face with the clerk should schedule an in-person appointment with the City Clerk may do so by contacting the office at 505-891-5004.
