March Archery Session
Sabana Grande Recreation Center is offering Beginner Archery 2 & Intermediate Archery, Advanced-Explore Archery Club, and Homeschool & Beginner Archery for anyone 8 years old or older beginning March 5-26. Equipment is provided. $60 per session. To enroll visit rrnm.gov/activenet.
22nd Annual Park ‘N The Park
The 22nd Annual Park ‘N The Park is right around the corner and it’s time to enter your car in the Car Show that will be held on Saturday, April 27 at Campus Park in Rio Rancho. The car show is open to all vehicles 35 years or older. The fee to enter the car show is $30 for pre registration or $35 if you enter the day of the event. The show will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and if you enter your car by April 12 you will receive a free T-shirt. The Museum in the Library – Yarn Club
The Bernalillo Community Museum is hosting their first-ever Yarn Club. This club is an hour-long session that will be recurring on the third Saturday of each month. The club is open to those everyone. The Yarn Club will be held at the Martha Liebert Public Library upstairs in the Large Study Room. The club’s first meeting will be on Mar. 16 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Children 11 years and younger must be accompanied by an adult. Community Shakespeare Reading Group
The Martha Liebert Community Library hosts a Shakespeare Reading Group for folks to stop by and learn more about Shakespeare’s work. The group still has some spaces open for folks to join and you can jump into the action at any time. The library will provide the Folger Shakespeare Library paperback edition if you do not have a book of your own. The group works to master the play they are currently reading to be able to understand whatever stanza of the play means. The group is held every Tuesday at 1pm at the Martha Liebert Library.
24th Annual Eggstravaganza
The Town of Bernalillo & First Assembly of God Church is set to host the 24th Annual Eggstravaganza. Hop on over to the annual easter egg hunt and a fun-filled day that the entire family can enjoy. Along with the easter egg hunt, there will also be prizes, fun jumps, and bikes.
