The Town of Edgewood hosted an all-day Christmas party Dec. 7 full of twinkling lights, caroling and a visit from Santa at Venus Park.

Edgewood’s Parks & Recreation Department and the Teen Advisory Council partnered on this year’s Reindeer Run, a free 5K event that was open to fitness buffs of any age or skill level to walk or run through Venus Park.

Following the 5k, cars, trucks and horses decked out in lights and decorations illuminated the night and led the way to the annual Edgewood tree lighting at Venus Park. The parade concluded with a ceremony where the town’s 16-foot metal Christmas tree was lit.
