Bernalillo County is currently accepting applications to fill four vacancies on the Addiction Treatment Advisory Board (ATAB). The board plays a crucial role in recommending consistent and best practices for county-administered programs and services related to medication addiction treatment and harm reduction services. Additionally, it makes policy recommendations to align the county’s programming and service delivery methods effectively.

The ATAB comprises 15 positions with members appointed by recommendation of the Division of Behavioral Health Services and approved by the Board of County Commissioners. Meetings are held at 4 p.m. on the third Monday of every month. Each member serves a term of three years.

The current vacancies are for representatives from the following areas: UNM Hospital, Veterans Services, Youth Mental Health, Peer Support Specialist and Family, Pregnancy, and Parenting Expertise.
