A public meeting is scheduled for Wednesday at the North Domingo Baca Multigenerational Center. The purpose of this meeting is to gather input regarding proposed updates to the master plan for the North Albuquerque Acres and Sandia Heights area by the Bernalillo County Parks, Recreation and Open Space Department. This is the ninth and final community meeting since they began last fall.

This includes discussions about the Altamont Baseball Complex, Little Cloud Park, W.L. Jackson Park, Harrison Schmitt Big Sky Hang Glider Park, Vista Sandia Equestrian Park, North Albuquerque Acres Tennis Complex, as well as other renovations, upgrades, and improvements relevant to the community’s interests.

Following a series of commission district meetings, the Parks, Recreation and Open Space master plan for the area will be finalized. The completed plan is expected to be submitted to the County Commission for approval by the end of the year.
