With Veterans Day coming up on Monday, Nov. 11, the City of Albuquerque announced services that will be available and closed on the holiday. 

Among the services that will be closed are libraries, community centers and museums, according to a news release from the City of Albuquerque. Most nonessential city offices will also be closed, as well as senior centers and meal sites.

Swimming pools, buses and trash collection will resume services as normal. The city is also holding a Veterans Day Parade at 8 a.m. Nov. 11 in the International District.

Closed on Veterans Day:

  • Albuquerque Museum
  • Most animal shelters
  • Balloon Museum
  • Childhood development centers
  • Most city offices
  • Health and social service centers
  • Libraries
  • Senior centers
  • Senior meal sites
  • Shooting Range Park
  • Open Space Visitor Center
