Most will be back to normal Friday, though.

Closures for both Thursday and Friday include Animal Welfare shelters, community centers, child development centers, health and social service centers, libraries and senior centers.

City golf courses will be open both days.

All solid waste convenience centers and the landfill will be closed Thursday.

The 311 Community Contact Center will be closed Thursday and reopen on Friday. Residents can report issues at any time through the ABQ 311 app.

ABQ RIDE’s bus, Sun Van and ABQ RIDE Connect won’t run Thursday, but

will resume a modified weekend schedule Friday. Customer Service windows at the Alvarado Transportation Center will be closed Thursday.

ABQ RIDE’s customer service number, 505-243-7433, will be available for calls from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days. ABQ RIDE Spokesperson Madeline Skrak said the service, used for inquiries and to schedule rides, is available 365 days a year.

Those using Uber over the holiday weekend may take advantage of the “Take a Ride on Us” program, a local partnership effort to provide safe rides during holidays and major events.

Residents in Bernalillo, Sandoval and Santa Fe counties can use the Uber app and apply the code NMTURKEY24 to receive up to $10 off two rides. The offer is good from 10 a.m Wed. Nov. 27, through 2 a.m. on Mon. Dec. 2.

The program has a limit of 2,500 trips available on a first-come, first-served basis. The credit applies only to rides and does not cover Uber Eats or driver tips.

Albuquerque International Sunport will be open both days.

Almost all Bernalillo County offices and community centers will be closed Thursday and open Friday. Public safety operations will continue as usual, county Spokesperson Estevan Vásquez said, and online services will be available.
