Placitas residents can stock up on spring plants, browse books and pick up homemade baked goods Saturday while supporting their local library at the Placitas Community Library’s annual Spring Fling.
The community fundraiser runs 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, April 11, at the library, 453 Highway 165. The event is free and open to all. Proceeds support the Placitas Community Library, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
Plants donated by local nurseries and the Jardineros Plant Whisperers headline the sale. A master gardener will be on hand to answer questions. Shoppers will also find Talavera pottery, fiction and nonfiction books, DVDs, CDs, audiobooks, jewelry, baked goods and household décor.
