Vista Grande Community Center will transform into a Halloween haven Friday when it hosts its annual Boo Bash celebration.

The event runs from 6:30 to 9 p.m. at the community center, located at 15 La Madera Road in Sandia Park.

Activities include carnival games, candy distribution, a costume contest and a haunted house attraction. The haunted house requires 10 tickets for entry.

Organizers are offering ticket packages for the event. Individual tickets cost 25 cents each. Package options include the “Boo Bargain” at $6 for 30 tickets, “Werewolf Deal” at $8 for 40 tickets, “Witch Special” at $10 for 60 tickets, and “Bat Band” unlimited pass for $15.

Payment will be accepted by cash, credit or debit card only. Unused tickets are non-refundable, according to event materials.

Bernalillo County operates the Vista Grande Community Center and serves residents in the East Mountain area. The facility hosts regular community programming and special events throughout the year.
