The Cedar Crest Sunday Market will host its final event of the season this Sunday, Oct. 26, from noon to 4 p.m. in the parking lot next to Triangle Grocery, with organizers aiming to draw a record crowd of 2,000 attendees.
The farewell celebration will feature family-friendly activities, including trick-or-treating, a costume contest at 2 p.m. with prizes from local businesses, and live music by Mystic Vic Blues.
Animal lovers can visit a petting zoo operated by Maslena Rescue Foundation or meet dogs available for adoption through Edgewood Animal Control.
Local farmers will offer end-of-season produce, including apples, squash, pumpkins and chile, while numerous vendors will provide holiday shopping options. The market previously drew 1,200 community members to a single event.
Additional attractions include:
- Face painting
- A photo booth by Enchanted Photo Booths
- Wood carving demonstrations
- Food trucks and local sourdough vendors
- Holiday beverages from Çabra Coffee and Chai Chai Love
The East Mountain Food Pantry will accept food donations at the event.
Admission is free and open to the public.
