Early voting for Bernalillo County’s Nov. 4 Regular Local Election begins Tuesday at the Clerk’s Annex, with additional locations opening later this month.

The Clerk’s Annex at 1500 Lomas Blvd. NW will be the sole early voting location from Oct. 7-17, operating 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. The office will be closed Oct. 13 for Indigenous Peoples’ Day.

Starting Oct. 18, early voting expands to 20 locations countywide, including Tijeras City Hall, operating Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. through Nov. 1. All sites will also be open on Election Day, Nov. 4, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The election features races for Albuquerque mayor and city council districts, along with contests for the Village of Tijeras Council, school board positions across multiple districts, and various bond measures. Voters will decide on Albuquerque Municipal School District board positions in Districts 3, 5, 6 and 7, as well as Moriarty-Edgewood School District board positions 1 and 5. Central New Mexico Community College board positions 1, 3, 5 and 7 are also on the ballot.

Additional races include directors for the Albuquerque Metropolitan Arroyo Flood Control Authority Districts 3 and 4, and supervisors for Ciudad Soil and Water Conservation District, Central Tri-County Soil and Water Conservation District, and Valencia Soil and Water Conservation District. Paradise Hills Special Zoning District commissioners will also be elected.

Voters can cast ballots in person, drop off absentee ballots, or register to vote at any early voting location.
