The town of Edgewood is asking residents to help shape its visual identity through a new wayfinding design survey aimed at improving navigation throughout the community.
The nine-question survey, which takes five to 10 minutes to complete, asks residents to weigh in on sign designs, site furnishing styles and plant palettes that best reflect Edgewood’s character. The survey is available online and all responses are collected anonymously.
Edgewood is partnering with New Mexico MainStreet on the wayfinding design and planning process, which will develop a comprehensive system of signs and other features to help people navigate the town more effectively.
The survey can be accessed at https://form.jotform.com/252095052033043. Town officials encourage all residents to participate in the planning process.
The wayfinding project is part of broader efforts to enhance Edgewood’s infrastructure and visitor experience. New Mexico MainStreet provides technical assistance and resources to help communities revitalize their downtown areas and improve economic development.
Results from the survey will inform the final design recommendations for the town’s new wayfinding system. Implementation details and timeline have not yet been announced.
