Two local artists will showcase their latest creations at an opening reception Saturday for “Spirit, Horses, and Machines,” a new exhibition featuring paintings, sculptures and vessels at Calliope Gallery.
The reception for works by Barbara Harnack and Michael Lancaster runs from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 27, at the gallery located at 2876 Highway 14 in Madrid.
The exhibition will remain on display through Nov. 11.
Featured works include Harnack’s painting “Taos Moon” and Lancaster’s “Steam Calliope,” described as suitable for wall or tabletop display.
The artists describe the event as their annual showcase of new work developed throughout the year, according to promotional materials.
The gallery can be reached at 505-660-9169 or rakusculptor@yahoo.com for directions or additional information.
