The Town of Edgewood announced it will kick off the fall season with a vibrant community celebration as Summer Fest returns to Venus Park on Saturday, Sept. 20 from 5-9 p.m.
The sunset gathering offers an evening of entertainment for all ages, featuring live music by Casino Queen, a variety of food trucks and children’s games. Adults can enjoy beverages at a beer garden operated by Juno, while attendees have chances to win door prizes throughout the event. An open mic session will allow community members to showcase their talents.
Running alongside the festivities, the Edgewood Lions Club is coordinating a Business Expo designed to highlight local enterprises. The expo provides area businesses with multiple ways to participate, including setting up display booths, contributing door prizes for public recognition or becoming premium sponsors of the entire Summer Fest event.
“This is a great opportunity for local businesses to connect with the community while supporting a fun family event,” said Lion K.R. Scott, Lions Club President.
Businesses interested in participating in the expo must submit their vendor applications by Aug. 29. Applications and additional details are available on the town’s website at www.edgewood-nm.gov/parks-recreation/page/summer-fest-2025.
The event represents a collaboration between the Town of Edgewood and local organizations to foster community spirit and support the area’s business community as summer transitions into fall.
