As Bernalillo County has been working on an economic report to be presented in October, it is hosting public meetings to allow citizens to share their voices and ideas to collaborate with the county.
The second of those meetings is set for July 10 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the Raymond G. Sanchez Community Center, 9800 Fourth St. NW.
These meetings are made to help the county’s Economic Development Department, which aims to represent local businesses, employers and community organizations. They are working on a strategy to build a more resilient economy.
The committee is looking for public feedback at these meetings to help improve the economy for the whole community.
“We want to hear what our friends and neighbors believe is important as far as economic development,” says Bernalillo County Executive Development Officer Marcos Gonzales. “We will use your comments to inform our Economic Development Department’s future strategies and programming.
