The Rio Rancho Chamber of Commerce is set to host the Brewathlon 2025 on May 31 at Brew Lab 101’s back patio. The event, hosted by the chamber’s Visionaries, combines cornhole and pong, with proceeds benefiting Honor Flight of Northern NM.

Last year’s Brewathlon raised $5,000, which funded trips for three veterans to Washington, D.C. Honor Flight, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, provides veterans with free trips to visit their memorials in the nation’s capital. Last summer, the organization flew 31 veterans. Their next trip is scheduled for June.

The Brewathlon 2025 will feature teams of two competing for prizes. Registration is $50 per team, with all proceeds going to Honor Flight.

The event is scheduled from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. on May 31. Registration closes on May 30, and spots are limited.

Those interested can register online. The event also offers an opportunity for local businesses to support veterans and engage with the community.
