The Bernalillo County School-Based Mobile Health Clinic, Health Yeah!, will offer limited free health services to the community over the holiday break. 

The Mobile Health Unit will provide services at Los Vecinos Community Center on Dec. 23, 26 and 27. The following week services will be provided at Westside Community Center on Dec. 30 and 31 and Jan. 2 and 3. Additionally, they will also offer behavioral health group sessions that are on a drop-in basis – no appointment necessary.

The schedule for services at Los Vecinos Community Center is as follows:

Dec. 23 from 12:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.

Dec. 26 from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.

    • Medication Safety
    • Safer Substance Consumption
    • Smoking Cessation
    • Sexual Health
    • Oral Health  
    • Hygiene Supplies

Dec. 27 from 7 a.m. – 2 p.m.

  • Covid / Flu Tests (self-administered)
  • Behavioral Health Sessions
    • 8:30 a.m. – Understanding Emotions
    • 10 a.m. – Building Coping Skills
    • 11:30 a.m. – What’s Addiction
    • 1 p.m. – Healthy Habits vs. Unhealthy Habits

According to a press release, these services are part of Bernalillo County’s ongoing efforts to improve access to healthcare for underserved communities. The Health Yeah! program is designed to bring health services directly to local neighborhoods.
