Bernalillo County officials are asking eligible voters who haven’t yet voted to cast their ballots Tuesday.

“Every election is an opportunity to make your voice heard,” County Clerk Linda Stover said in a news release. “By voting, you’re taking an active role in shaping our community’s future and ensuring your values are represented.”

Aside from picking the next president, voters are tasked with choosing new county commissioners, state legislators and members of Congress. They’ll also decide on local bond questions, state constitution changes and possible changes to Albuquerque’s city charter.

Voting will run from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at 72 polling places across the county. Voters can cast their ballots in person or deliver their completed absentee ballots to any voting center before the deadline.

Stover said anyone in line at a polling place by 7 p.m. will be allowed to vote.

Information on Election Day, including polling place locations and sample ballots, is available here.

Shortly after 7 p.m., unofficial election results will be displayed on the clerk’s office home page.

The clerk’s office can also be reached at 505-243-8683 or via email at clerk@bernco.gov.
