For the third straight year, the parking lot of the Sandoval County Administration Building will be lined with classic, tricked-out cars as the county again hosts its annual Car Show and Flea Market.
The event, hosted by the Sandoval County Employee Appreciation Committee, is set for Sept. 28.
According to a press release from Sandoval County, the free, family-friendly event will feature unique wares from over 20 vendors, crafts, food, music and, of course, beautiful cars.
The market runs from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. with the car show from 9 a.m. to noon. Trophies will be awarded for best of show, people’s choice, best custom car and more.
The Employee Appreciation Committee said market booth space rentals are still available. The cost is $15 for an uncovered parking spot (pop-ups allowed) and $20 for a covered parking spot. Entry fee for the car show is $25 with preregistration or $30 the day of the show.
Registration closes at 4 p.m. Sept. 26. Proceeds from car entries and booth rentals benefit Sandoval County Employee Celebration and Appreciation Task Force events. Sandoval County employees working this event are volunteering their time at no cost to the county or to taxpayers.
