The Bernalillo County Clerk’s Office will be celebrating National Voter Registration Day with its annual Voter Registration Day event.
The event is set for Sept. 17 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at Bernalillo County @ Alvarado Square, located at 415 Silver Ave SW.
According to the county, the registration day event “focuses on empowering every eligible voter to exercise their fundamental right to vote.”
During the event, attendees can register to vote for the first time, update their existing voter registrations and receive information on how to become a poll worker for the 2024 General Election.
The festivities will include food from Rollin’ in Hot food truck, offering burgers, tacos, sandwiches and loaded fries. The first 50 registrants will receive a complimentary cup of Menchie’s Frozen Yogurt. The event will also feature AGM radio stations, giveaways and vendors from various local organizations and county departments.
This event offers a great opportunity for community members to engage, enjoy local food, and ensure they are vote ready for the upcoming elections.
