Bernalillo Fire Department Fire Hydrant Testing/Inspection
From Feb. 26 through Mar. 16 the Town of Bernalillo will be having fire hydrant testings and inspections. The Bernalillo Fire Department checks fire hydrants once a year to inspect for proper operation, leaks, and other possible maintenance concerns. If you notice discolored water at the tap during the fire hydrant testing, just let a cold- water tap run for a few minutes and it should clear. If you have discolored water for more than an hour, call the Town of Bernalillo Water Department at 505-771-7107. The Bernalillo Fire Department cannot provide the exact day of the week that Waterway of New Mexico will be testing in a specific neighborhood.
