The municipal election for the City of Rio Rancho will take place on Tuesday, March 5. The election will be held to elect three City Councilors to a four-year term: Councilor District 1, City Councilor District 4, and City Councilor District 6. Citywide, voters will also be asked to consider three General Obligation Bond questions – Roads, Public Safety, and Quality of Life Facilities.
The deadline to submit candidacy for the City Council seats is Tuesday, January 9 at 5 p.m.
Early voting in person will begin on Tuesday, February 6 at Broadmoor Senior Center in Rio Rancho. Five additional early voting locations will open starting on Saturday, February 17, 2024.
