According to the Sandoval County Sheriff’s Office, someone (or someones) stole three trucks from the U.S. Forest Service station in Cuba.

The trucks were stolen sometime during the night last Saturday.

Employees discovered the trucks were gone when they got to work Sunday afternoon.

The Sheriff’s Office couldn’t confirm how many people were involved in the theft, but says the gate surrounding the station was broken and the culprits drove off in three trucks equipped with wild land firefighting equipment.

The total cost of the theft was about $230,000. With no suspects or arrests, the SO says they’re still looking for the trucks.
