Corrales Historical Society (CHS) and Corrales Society of Artists (CSA) have again partnered to bring you the 35th Annual Winter Craft Show, going on Dec. 1 through Dec. 3. It will occupy Historic Old San Ysidro Church and a large, heated tent on Old Church grounds. Forty of New Mexico’s finest artists will be offering beautiful Handcrafted Works of Art. All work is juried, and admission is free.

Make your holiday gift lists and come on out to the show. It’s the perfect place to start or finish up your holiday shopping with truly unique gift items… or pick up something for yourself! Choose from traditional and contemporary art forms. Craft prices range from a low of $5.00 up to approximately $1200.00. A percentage of proceeds from the show goes to preservation and maintenance of the Old Church.

For those not into shopping, come explore the Old Church, an exceptional building in the Historic Heart of Corrales; listed on both the National Register of Historic Places and the New Mexico Register of Cultural Properties. It’s a classic example of New Mexico Hispanic Village Religious Architecture from the 18th and 19th centuries.

Holiday shopping hours are from 10 am until 4 pm. Traditional New Mexican food from Jemez’s “Sun & Fire” will be available for purchase at the show.

Make it a full Corrales weekend! After the Winter Craft Show on Saturday, Dec. 2, stick around for the Starlight Parade that brings out the magic of the holidays. Everyone’s invited to enjoy the fun. The parade starts at 5:30pm at Wagner Farms and heads south on Corrales Road. A celebration of St. Nicholas will immediately follow the parade at Corrales Rec Center.
