On the November ballot, there are several bond questions relating to public schools throughout Sandoval County.

Cuba Independent Public Schools

Cuba Independent Schools district has a total of $6,500,000 in bond questions to support capital projects such as remodeling existing school buildings, teacher salaries, building upgrades and other improvements. The bond would be funded in part by a $2 property tax imposed on each $1,000 of taxable land in the district for six years starting in 2025.

Jemez Valley Public Schools

Jemez Valley Public Schools bond would impose a $2 property tax on each $1,000 of taxable land in the district for six years starting in 2025. The uncapped bond would be used to support capital improvement projects throughout the district.

Bernalillo Public Schools

The Bernalillo Public Schools bond would impose a $2 property tax on each $1,000 of taxable land in the district for six years starting in 2025. The uncapped bond would be used to support capital improvement projects throughout the district.

Central New Mexico Community College

Voters will be able to vote on the Central New Mexico Community College GO Bond. If it passes, the GO Bond would provide $80 million for projects at multiple CNM locations throughout Bernalillo County and Sandoval County.

The bond would fund a permanent location for CNM’s FUSE Makerspace, which would create resources and educational programs for students, entrepreneurs, and community members.

Support for the completion of CNM’s Trades and Applied Technology facility project, including more labs and equipment.

The bond will also create the CNM Film and Digital Media Center at the Albuquerque Rail Yards, for film production and digital media education and training to be completed with partnership with the State and City of Albuquerque.
